JP8020 - An integrated offline AC/DC controller with integrated high-voltage GaN transistors for high-performance operation.
The JP8020 are integrated offline AC/DC controllers with integrated high-voltage GaN transistor for high performance operation.  These parts target high-performance, Low cost flyback power supplies up to 45W and boost power supplies up to 65W.

The JP8020 targets traditional flyback architectures using opto-isolator-based feedback.  It can operate up to 500 kHz to improve transformer size and power density, while using a traditional system architecture.
The JP8020 implements a startup controller and pulse isolation interface  to enable external primary- or secondary-side control. Using a secondary-side controller can improve transient response as well as managing the load interface.
